My Birthday Party at Shakey’s Restaurant
I was so excited about my 6th birthday party celebration. We have celebrated my birthday at the Shakey’s Pizza house and a lot of my cousins and friends from different families have shared their time and enjoyed the food, games and prizes prepared by the restaurant.

Toy Story 3 – To Infinity and Beyond
Yesterday, my dad and I watched Toy story 3 movie in the Cinema, there were not much movie-goers for the movie Toy story 3 maybe because the movie is showing for its second week now.
Sheriff Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and the whole gang are back in their latest adventure. But now Andy is all grown up and has grown out of playing with his toys, leaving them inside in a dusty old toy box.
Now Andy is leaving for college and must clear out his room before he goes. He hasn’t played with the toys in years, which was bad enough, but now woody and gang’s future is uncertain: will Andy throw them in the garbage? dump them in the attic (which sounds awful, but at least there’s still a possibility that someday, Andy’s own kids might play with them)? or donate them to Sunnyside Day Care that might seem to be a toy paradise for the forgotten toys.
Weekend Visit to Tagaytay City
Today mom, dad, grandpa and I went to visit Tagaytay City. We started the morning by hearing the mass at the Pink Sisters convent and this is my second time to visit this church. The mass has already started when we arrived and the place is already crowded with church-goers, my guess is they all came from different places probably from metro manila.
We could hardly find a place to seat so we just stood by the church corridor till the mass ended. After the mass, I saw some people writing on a piece of paper about their prayer request and placing them on an envelope, I saw my mom doing the same thing and she asked me to drop our request at the drop box. A lot of people are saying that your prayers are heard when you ask an intercession prayer from this church.
It’s a bit odd that the weather in Tagaytay is not that cold as if you were in metro manila, while Tagaytay is one of the country’s famous attraction for its sceneries, cool and comfortable weather. Some people said that the cool weather is affected by the “steam” coming out from Taal Volcano where it is reported from the news that as of this writing, Taal Volcano is now on alert level 2 which means that the volcano has an unstable activity and could lead to an eruption anytime. Sound scary.
After the church visit we decided to go Leslies Restaurant to take our lunch, it’s a five minutes drive away from the Pink Sisters. Leslie’s is one of the famous restaurant in Tagaytay that serves authentic filipino food where the area is set against the scenic backdrop of Taal Volcano. Dad and I had a chance to tour around the complex where we saw a number of traditional nipa huts which can serve as your private dining and as well as your viewing deck.
We ordered Pinaputok na Tilapia (steamed Tilapia with onions and tomatoes), Fried catfish, mango salad, sinigang na hipon (shrimp in sour soup) and fried kangkong leaves. By the way, Leslie’s is famous for its signature mouth watering Bulalo (Beef bone marrow soup). During lunch grandpa promise me to have a little adventure it’s about going for a horseback riding but mom forgot to bring my hat so grandpa bought me a new hat and let me play drums in Robinsons Tagaytay.
There was no crowd when we arrived at the horseback riding area, which means I get to pick my own horse, I chose the white one as it looks like Bullseye the horse of Woody in the Toy Story movie, unfortunately the guide said that the name of the horse is Palamara. After a few rounds of ride I got tired and thirstyand so we went home to manila.
